About the Author

Sarah Taylor-Malo is a first-time author who has had a lifelong passion for writing and storytelling. She has a profound curiosity about the world, people, and her inner self. She graduated from Loyalist College’s photojournalism program with honours and completed a photo internship at the Winnipeg Free Press. Her work has been published in the Toronto Star, the Ottawa Sun, and the Winnipeg Free Press. She is a recent graduate of Queen’s University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in global development studies. 

Sarah began writing Growing Pains as a form of therapy and journaling which ultimately became a way for her to capture this particular phase of her life. She believes writing is a crucial practice to help her make sense of her thoughts and feelings, and looks forward to telling more of her story as it continues to unfold.
